ACID JAZZ LEGEND LINDA (GALLIANO, PLAN B, BRAND NEW HEAVIES, INCOGNITO) BRINGS HER AMAZING VOICE TO HERTFORD
Linda has worked with some of the biggest names in the UK's acid jazz scene, having sung with and written songs for Incognitio and the Brand New Heavies in the early 90s. She has also worked with the James Taylor Quartet, United Future Organization, Plan B, and Galliano.
Her tone, power and range still amaze, and here she sings two sets of jazz standards, with maybe one or two from the old days, accompanied by Russ Williams on piano and a Hertford/Welwyn-based quintet. Russ is a veteran of jazz in Hertford, he and his father ran the jazz sessions at the Old Barge for many years.
