Join us in the Hertford Club's garden (or inside if wet or cold) for an evening of contrasting styles.
7pm - Jazz et Cetera are a new and exciting guitar and piano jazz quartet, offering a spritely repertoire of jazz fusion, latin jazz and cool jazz-funk, with Gerald Roberts on guitar, Richard Hurford on piano, Martin Fox on bass and Thulsi on drums.
8pm - Cornelia and Friends perform songs from the Great American Songbook, featuring Cornelia Lawrence on vocals, John Mole on clarinet, Dave Comley on guitar and Alan Andrews on bass.
9pm - Jazzniks play energetic funky jazz from the 50s and 60s - Freddie Hubbard, Lou Donaldson, Lee Morgan et al - uplifting, boppy and melodic. Jazzniks are Nick Pearce (alto sax), Ian Byrne (piano), Joe Saunders (guitar), Alex Gyrus (bass) and Chris Dixon (drums).
